I was fortunate enough to get an early release from asia and I took some pics to compare it to the previously released versions. Very early photos from this figure that surfaced on the net seemed to have the Evolution Fett on the card. Resulting in some confusion.
Didn't Hasbro say that we will ge a more movie accurate figure? Yes!
And they delivered! Finally Hasbro put some effort into this figure.
Some might say that it is only a repaint, but let's not forget from the time we learned that we will get a newly sculpted ESB Boba Fett in the Evolution set, we waited for a more accurate version, and it is finally here, Fans, kids and collectors alike will receive one in the 2010 line up. It is still not the ultimate Fett, but improvements have been made to a point that everbody can be more happy with this figure and the outcome.
So what are the changes?
1. The helmet, gauntlets and the jetpack received the lighter color green as seen on screen.
2. The body armor received the slightly darker green treatment.
3. The cheeks on the helmet got a much darker green, (still a flat black would likely be more accurate, judging by lfl pics, and research), but this dark green definetley looks better than the green on the Evolution Fett and the BD36 Fett.
4. The hip pouches match the suits color better.
5. Brown colored sidearm.
6. Brown leather strap on blaster
So what is still missing? For one the lighter yellow left shoulder, the center stripe on the boots, and a cape that is a bit browner in color.
But for a mass produced toy that should bring joy to the owner this is a huge step in the right direction. I'm sure a lot of folks will like this figure, and it shows that Hasbro does listen to the fans, and like they said earlier this year, we will receive a more movie accurate figure!

I found a bubble variant of Cade Bane on CDN card.The variant should exist on U.S. card.
Left picture:rectangular bubble at the end of the gun in the right hand.Also ,the inner bubble between his legs, stop at his knees. DS93341.
Right picture:round bubble at the end of the gun in his right hand.Also, the inner bubble between his legs goes higher.DS00741

Sorry I don't have pics, but I picked this figure up last night and haven't had the time to document.
Found the Magnaguard at TRU, and noticed that on the back of the card the pictures of the other figures is a large sticker. Upon further examiniation, I noticed that the number on the front insert is a stickered #49 (under the bubble,) and the number on the back is also a stickered #49 (Both very small. . . easy to overlook.)
Keep an eye out, maybe (early) unstickered versions are out there, different sticker combos, and there may be a correction on the horizon. I will try to take pictures (and a DS) this weekend if I get a spare moment.

DS 91671 Bubble looks to be the same as DS 91321 but NO hole.
DS 91941 Bubble over right thigh.

Confused yet? I was!

I picked up a 2nd ARF Trooper over the weekend with the intent on opening one, but when I was looking at both to decide which one to open I discovered that the new ARF had a bubble change.
The one on the left has a deep slot for the small gun and the bubble is formed to hold it in. The one on the right has a shallow slot for the gun which doesn't hold it in place, so there is a piece of tape over the gun instead.
Left - Bubble holds gun DS#91521
Right - Shallow bubble, tape holds gun DS#91731

| February 25, 2010 - Clone Wars - Nikto Guard TRU Exclusive Mock-Up |

Presented below is a prototype mock-up of Nikto Guard from Clone Wars.
The figure is a first shot in non-production colors.
The packaging looks great (IMHO) and we can see that the figure will be a TRU exclusive.
