Will TRU spread a little post-Christmas cheer with the release of the exclusive Silver Clone Trooper?
It sure looks like it!
This ad is from a TRU catalog in Japan,which confirms the December 26th date along with details on the minimum purchase requirements to receive a Silver Clone Trooper.
It would be hard to believe that the Japanese TRUs would be the only ones participating... so look for an official U.S. announcement soon!

| I just think it stinks I went to TRU on the busiest shopping day of the year to see if they have it, now I have to go on the busiest return day to see if they have it. Yeesh. |

That and after X-mas everyones just got gifts, hopfully some SW goodies, and who has any extra $$ to spend to get one.
Oh well, with my luck, this one will be a Japan exclusive and I'll never get one.

Thats what im waiting for. If its going to be a Japanese exclusive who knows what we will have to pay on ebay for 1, but im sure it wont be as much as they are now!
But why offer it the day after X-Mas? Seems like they should have it before hand to push the holiday sales up. But i guess offering it after the holidays will give collectors a little incentive to buy some leftovers if they want 1 of these. |

yes, it is about damn time. what a great day too, i really want to go out the day after xmas and have to buy $20 worth of ****bratty 6-year olds had their parents take back. enh, ill still probably pick it up./

| Is it confirmed that you will have to buy $20.00 in starwars figures and then the clone trooper is free. If so that'll work for me I can spend 20.00 easy at tru because I'am a little behind on some of the new stuff. |

| hmm... the TRU nearest me, claims thry know nothing of it and usually don't get word ahead of promo's until the truck arrives with it. maybe if TRU has so will amazon.com soon |

yeah, my TRU pulled the same thing on me last year with silver R2. they didnt admit to the promo until about 3 days before i think. give it time. im sure there will be an official US announcement within a week or so.

I heard it's going to be at tru the day after Christmas, given after some kind of purchase amount, I don't remember how much. This looks to be a cool addition to the silver lineup

Does anyone know if this applies to Canadian TRU's?
As far as I know the Silver R2 did not make it up here.
