...so why is hasbro spending tooling money on these? They look to have 1999 potf2/ep1 articulation. After a while everyone will be tired of same character/outfits done over and over. I don't know....but I would rather see them spend the tooling money on something new like Luke and Leia in Mimban miner disquise from Splinter of the Mind's Eye as a new take on classic characters. 0r if not all new, a well deserved redo like Bespin gown Leia and Tarkin are getting since the last attempts were 8 and 15 years ago, respectively.
but alas, my ocd for "new" sculpts will dictate i get these |

the fett is the only cool character of both packs, he is a pass but the rest.......really Hasbro! wow I'm shocked thanks for this.?. |

I really like the ESB Battlepack. Finally, a great Vader without soft goods. Boba and blonde Luke look pretty cool as well. Maybe Hasbro will even get the ESB Boba deco correct this time thanks to volkerc. As for the Duel on Naboo, the articulation from the waist down looks like 70's articulation to me.

Lol. My comment on the Fett? Oh well. ESB Boba Fett has no spats, looks like this one does. Armor all in the same green color, incorrect. Same goes for the yellow armor. Less articulation, no good. Positive a bigger helmet and the shoulder armor not "cut" by the joints. I still favor the Vintage VC09 carded figure, a bigger helmet would have helped that figure to look even better.

Are they kidding me? The best ESB Boba Fett? I'm seeing the worst they ever made. Spats!? On an ESB Fett, never part of the costume. Whats with the flakvest sleeves? Waaay to long! Bright yellow knee armor and dark shoulder armor! Oh man, and do I see green cheeks again on the ESB helmet!? And wheres the sidearm and holster? I don't see it in the pics. Same color green on all armor parts, sheez.
