Which Jorg Sacul is worth more money.

The white beard or the grey beard?

I looked in Lee's and it says the grey beard is more valuable.

But I haven't seen that many white beards on ebay.

The white bearded Sacul is the rare version. It seems when they first produced these they made the beard to look more like George does now but they changed it up for a younger looking version, thus the grey. Also, this could have just been a case where they got the overlay wrong and hit it with the grey first then the white or missed the grey spray totally? Who knows for sure but the White is definitely the hotter version for variant hunters like myself.

Throw price guides out the window, the introduction of the net killed them.

They are only good as a source of reference now. BTW Lee's was an interesting mag, I haven't spotted one in the store in at least 3 years.

I keep seeing them on ebay and the people keep listing the gray beards as, "This is the hard to find grey beard version"

All go for $30-$100 and I there is a white beard version for $400.

Anyone have a white beard they want to get rid of that isn't $400. Plus the $400 is AFA graded.

I would never buy a AFA graded figure. I hope that statement discourages the use of the whole program and it comes to an end.

I miss the days of Lee's and Tomarts guide and some of their miss priced point guides. Do they still print ToyFare? I use to get that religiously. I was even featured twice in the Homemade Heroes customizing section. Things were a lot more simple before the Net.

Besides the White and Grey Beard is there not also an "R" rights reserved circled in black, white Or missing under the Star Wars logo?

I have a grey beard, which I assume is the more common one, that I picked up at a KSWCC Fall Social for free. I guess that's how much he's worth to me.
