I think it's about time for a new Mon Mothma figure. A real good one. Maybe a 12" too! She's plays such a big role in the Star Wars universe. I don't know why seh doesn't get enough attention.

I think the one we got was good enough.I doubt a 12" one would sell very well either, except to completests, maybe.

I think your on to something here Lemmiwinks!! Theres not much of a mention of her, even in the SW databank.

Sure theres a nice background on her, but i would like to know more about how she formed the alliance!! (If theres a book)
As for the figure, I welcome the idea for a new Mon Mothma. I was disapointed they never had a vintage (but they could make 20 diff ewoks) & the potf ff Mothma i have, well i was also upset by it. Not much detail went in to that fig i guess. While there at it, let them make a Cloud Car Pilot. Where is that fig???

im gonna have to go with a pass on the 3:3/4" mon mothma. in the movie she did basically nothing, so having a figure that looks failry decent, i dont see the purpose for a new one. unless it was part of a rebel alliance briefing room scene sets, with a big DS2 hologram in the middle. as for 12", it probably wont be a hot seller like BSL said.

Hey how about an Unleashed figure! She can stand there... like she did in the movie.
Perhaps a deluxe figure with multuple points of articulation so she can... well... stand there like she did in the movie.
The possibilities are endless.

Lemmiwinks now I know you are full of S***! Mon Mothma is Padme? I don't think so dude, just as Padme appearing in ROTJ Super SE is BS too. Rick McCallum said so on starwars.com a few months ago.

I doubt Mon Mothma is Padme.The Emperor or Vader would have seen through this.Its not as dumb as it seems however. The age may be right.This is probably what Padme would do if alive.Take part in a rebellion.Keeping Padme alive after eIII is like keeping Mace Windu alive,youd like to but how?

That is such a foolish idea. Listen to leia in rotj, she knew her mother, but she had died when she was young. Plus, dont you think shed counsel luke, letting him in on the huge past of their family? and lemmiwinks: what office do you work at?

Now that I think about it if Mon Mothma was Padme than maybe Raquel Welch or someone could have played her in Jedi,Or maybe Susan Sarandon, Or Sophia Loren.Joan Collins?

No no no, i think lemmiwinks is correct. padme is really mon mothma. george lucas and rick mccallum commenting on her death - they just dont even know. leia is even more clueless. HA! how would she know what really happened to her mother?
who am i kidding. padme can only be mon mothma "from a certain point of view", which would have to be an insane one...

Mon Mothma had like 10 minutes of total footage. Why a new figure? I don't think its worth it. She sucks. Point blank. she sucks and is no good. And I don't need another freaking figure to collect that sucks. IE. Teemto Pogallis

I have to agree, she maybe an important key to the Rebelion, but since they already made one awhile back, I don't think it's time to make another co-co-co-character. Besides, all she does is stand their and talk, the POTF2 figure fits her well. But, maybe in the far future.
